On Immigration

Concerned that immigration is destroying your national identity by subverting your national culture and values? Then you are a racist! At least that is the same tired refrain that the left always marches out when they have absolutely no counter argument to your position. Well...that or they really don't want to be bothered with you. The term "Nazi" is also a leftie favorite. Joe Stalin began using that method to dismiss arguments that he really didn't want to hear. He therefore called the person making the argument a Nazi and presto! Instant argument ender. Since this was just after World War II, nobody would lend ear to a "Nazi" either real or unjustly accused. The left all over the world emulated their dear leader and began using it as Uncle Joe did and they had similar success. Thus began one of the most annoying habits of the left.

The hardest habits to break are the oldest ones and the left has been using character assassination, smears, lies, and propaganda for a very looooooong time. So long in fact that one wonders if somewhere deep inside that small, cold, calculating, tarnished heart of theirs lurks a desperate desire to once, just once, to offer an argument based on reason and logic instead of invoking old images of evil as they always do or if they are so mind numbed that reason and logic no longer registers. But I digress.

The left wants immigration because they believe that immigrants will see the world as they do and ask for a hand out, thus presenting themselves as a captive voter to the leftist ideal. The manner of their immigration is irrelevant, it is the vote that is all important. Those with a modicum of common sense believe that immigration serves the State only so long as the immigrant desires to integrate into the existing culture and values of the nation in which he resides. This is where the left and right differ. The left sees a voter for their side where the right sees a resource that has the potential to strengthen the nation.

This then, is the crux of illegal immigration and it represents a problem that has wide implications for the West. Here in the States we experience a tremendous influx of illegal immigrants from Latin America and other parts of the world. Forty years ago these people would have sought to become Americanized by learning the language and integrating into American society. This is not the case today.

Immigrants, whether illegal or otherwise, largely retain their originating national identities and culture. This even includes retaining a reliance on their native tongues. With the plethora of official paperwork in multitudes of foreign languages and the marketplace reflecting this with "press one for English" and multilingual packaging, there really is no reason to learn the English language. In fact, I have arrested people who have been in the United States illegally for more than ten years that didn't know a word of English. When asked why this was so by the interpreter, they replied that they didn't need to know it.

While I cannot speak to all immigrant populations, I am very familiar with the Latin American culture and immigrants because I once policed them. For the most part they are decent, hard working folks who live simply and play hard. They migrate all around the nation, establish enclaves where they reside together and establish restaurants, stores, entertainment venues, and financial services within the community to reduce their exposure to ICE and the American culture. Therefore, the illegal immigrant population is insulated from the American consciousness preferring to remain immersed in their own national identities living as expats on American soil. I would imagine that other cultures, and especially Islam, are essentially the same.

The United Kingdom knows that of which I speak. The Brits are fighting to retain that which makes them unique as a culture amidst the predator of Islam, and yes I most certainly do mean to use the descriptor "predator." This is because Islam has proven its predatory nature countless times over the centuries. In the United Kingdom Muslims have attacked St. George, British soldiers, the sons of the U.K., and dared Englishmen to travel within the confines of their enclaves. Further, they rape British women, use the daughters of English men and women as prostitutes and sex slaves, and trade in narcotics and terror in Mosques that are little more than breeding grounds for hatred and intolerance. Are all Muslims like this? No, but enough of them are that the damage they inflict upon society cannot be ignored. Islam exerts tremendous influence in the United Kingdom.

The Muslim influence on the U.K. is such that Sharia law is now recognized by the State. Effectively, Britain now has laws specific to its native population and different laws for Muslims. This was unheard of in Western society and greatly undermines the rule of law in the West as a whole. The only thing acting as a brake on this insanity is the English Defense League (EDL). They are not fascists, they are not nut jobs, they are not intolerant. What they are is patriots who are proud to be English and wish to retain that identity. Their only fight is with radical Islam and with the Islamization of the United Kingdom. For that they are mercilessly attacked by the left both verbally and on occasion physically.

The EDL was led by police into a Muslim ambush which resulted in injuries while the police just stood by and watched. Contrast that with the Islamic intimidation of the police, assaulting officers, and chasing them down the street shouting insults at them and the insanity becomes apparent. Not enough for you? How about the pub owner who clipped news stories out of the daily paper and posted them on a bulletin board inside his own establishment and was prosecuted criminally for hate speech because all of the articles were about Muslims. I wrote the British Home Secretary on that one and I am fairly sure that I won't be welcome in the U.K. should I ever desire to go there given the reception of an American radio personality that was denied a visa to enter the country for similar feelings.

The same process is being played out with Islam in France, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and other nations who have allowed foreigners in for political reasons rather than for the good of the nation and the native population. Politics aside, I am not against immigration.

The United States of America was built upon thoughtful immigration. My own family immigrated to North America 371 years ago from England. Immigration works when those immigrating seek a better life and to integrate with the population that they wish to join via assimilation into the native culture. They bring an energy that breathes new life into an existing culture and renews national strength. That fact is what has made America who and what she is today. But when immigrants come only to exploit benefits, violate the laws of their new home with impunity, seek not to integrate into the native culture and to remain insulated from it to retain their originating nation's identity and native tongue they are not an asset, but a destroying force and a burden to the native.

Worse, the social acid of multiculturalism aids such people in the rapid breakdown and destruction of the native people leaving behind the broken remnants of a once vibrant and energetic population. This is because multiculturalism breaks apart the bonds which cement a society and bind a community together. If a community or nation is based upon common values and beliefs, then what happens when the native culture is thus destroyed? The answer to that is easy because it implodes under its own weight. That is exactly what is happening in Western Europe and we can see its beginnings here in the States as well in the governments of our colonial cousins.

This is why the Russian government says that America is running the risk of balkanization due to diverse and varied cultures, beliefs, and languages. Multiculturalism is therefore not the panacea of tolerance and understanding that it has been branded, but a tool to break down and destroy the native population leaving them open to a new system of government. Specifically, the government created by Marx.

Call me a racist, Nazi, right wing nut job, or whatever else, but the truth is plain for all to see if people would merely open their eyes and honestly examine the situation.
