Social Diversity or Thought Crime?

The never ceasing meme of the left is that we must all be tolerant. Tolerant of each and every thing or else we are not good people. Recently, Julea Ward was expelled from Eastern Michigan University for her belief that homosexuality was morally wrong. Miss Ward filed suit against the University and the ruling has come down: the University acted appropriately and the student’s expulsion was upheld.

The University spokesman had this to say, “We are pleased that the court has upheld our position in this matter. Julea Ward was not discriminated against because of her religion. To the contrary, Eastern Michigan is deeply committed to the education of our students and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds into our community.” That is, so long as they keep their opinions to themselves. God forbid that any semblance of true academic freedom is actually allowed within the hallowed halls of academia.

While the outcome is certainly bad news for traditional Christian students, it has to also be bad news for Michigan’s Islamic community as well, no? I mean, given that Islam executes homosexuals and does not tolerate them in the slightest, there is no possible way that these students could expect to attend any public University in Michigan right? Wrong.

Islam is protected by the left because it originates overseas and is held in high esteem by people who want to roll back the clock to the year 1400. Those guys will literally hunt you down and kill you for the kind of thing that the left does with wild abandon to Christians. You see, Christians view themselves as being more enlightened and they simply get a lawyer and pray for a good outcome that may or may not happen. Therefore, the left has decided to execute Christianity and Judaism by any means necessary in order to destroy the nation’s morals and speaking your mind is a good enough reason to persecute you according to the Eastern Michigan University.

While those who believe in the salvation of Christ must tread carefully, Michigan is hard at work installing foot washing stations in institutions of higher learning and at taxpayer expense. Doesn’t seem fair does it? The left’s love affair with Islam is never ending. Recently, the City fathers of New York City approved the building of a thirteen story mega-mosque at ground zero. I would even bet you that much of the American aid that is going to be moved to Palestine with the intent of flaunting the Israeli navy is being provided with the help of New Yorkers.

I suppose that I can understand the leftist desire to roll back the clock as many professors are permanently stuck in 1968 and everybody wants to be relevant to the world in which they live. But by suppressing the opinion of a girl that is only expressing an ideology of her faith, the actions of EMU are far more sinister.

I contend that the University is engaged in a witch hunt to prosecute thought crime. Had the girl been a Muslim and not a Christian, I am certain that she would not have been treated in such a vile manner by EMU. While the University’s actions are not surprising, the actions of the judiciary are: “Furthermore, the university had a rational basis for requiring students to counsel clients without imposing their personal values. In the case of Ms. Ward, the university determined that she would never change her behavior and would consistently refuse to counsel clients on matters with which she was personally opposed due to her religious beliefs – including homosexual relationships” wrote Judge Steeh in his opinion.

I cannot help, but to believe that the Judge’s opinion that Ms. Ward would, ‘never change her personal values,” means that the State could never get her to become an apostate to her religion. Therefore, if the State cannot force her to relinquish her faith in Christ, they would simply boot her out of the PUBLIC University. I mean, everybody knows that there is no room for God at a public school. Well, with the exception of Islam. Isn’t it also funny how none of the Muslim kids came to her rescue? Oh wait, she is an infidel. Never mind.

The message to Christians is very clear: you are not welcome. So shut up and bend over or get the hell out of here according to Eastern Michigan University and the Federal Circuit Court. America’s love affair with all things homosexual does not extend to the suppression of free thought. While TV, movies, books, magazines, and tabloids extol the virtues of homosexuality, it should not do so at the expense of heterosexuals. By enforcing a government mandate designed to overwrite existing thought by brute force you are employing tactics that are worthy only of a tyrant. Yes indeed, we have lost our minds in the United States of America.

The First Annual Leni Riefenstahl Awards

Due to the extraordinary efforts as recently demonstrated by luminaries in the field of propaganda, I believed that it was high time to recognize these stellar individuals and organizations as they deceive the public, sink potentially harmful stories, blatantly lie to the American people and target Fox News, bloggers, and those who revere freedom for ridicule and vitriol. As such, I believed that it was high time to honor their achievements. So welcome to the first ever Leni Riefenstahl awards for propaganda!

Propaganda holds a special place in the leftist heart. This is because it takes a great deal of effort and perseverance to engage in propaganda that is successful. Propaganda has multiple aims and if done correctly, can be the holy grail of politics. Propaganda begins in elementary school and tracks individuals throughout their secondary education culminating in the pinnacle of propaganda at the University level. But the real stars of the propaganda efforts are the elites in the news media employed by CBS, CNN, PBS, NBC, ABC, and MSNBC and their colleagues in the print and radio media.

The astounding achievements by the titans of news reporting have heretofore gone unnoticed by the American people. That changes today! With the inaugural Riefenstahl awards those who have sweated, toiled, and sacrificed for the cause of Marxism/socialism will finally receive the recognition that they so richly deserve. The categories for tonight’s awards are:

Best Individual Achievement
Best Group Achievement
Best Effort by a Layperson
Best Achievement by a Hollywood Professional
Lifetime Achievement in Propaganda

The Best Individual Achievement Award recognizes outstanding achievements by an individual to lie, smear, suppress, or spin the truth in order to make the left look cool, sexy, and powerful. While many compete, only one will win this honor. It takes stamina, a clever mind, and an uncommon underhandedness in order to secure this prize. The nominations for this award are:

Katie Couric – Ms. Couric currently hosts the CBS Evening News. Her sweet smile and perky demeanor belie a demonic underhandedness designed to torpedo the enemies of the left. Just ask Sarah Palin if you don’t believe that.

Dan Rather – Mr. Rather gave a huge effort to sticking it to Former President George W. Bush. By using information that had been determined by CBS to be unreliable, he assailed the President’s service in the Air National Guard. When confronted for this, Mr. Rather sidestepped the blame and dodged responsibility for his malfeasance with élan. Who’s the man? You’re the man Dan!

Spencer Ackerman – Formerly employed by the Washington Independent, Mr. Ackerman stuck it to conservatives and John McCain when he vigorously went after innocent Republicans smearing them as racists and helped to sink the story of Reverend Wright in order to protect an inexperienced and green candidate for the Presidency. As Chris Mathews once said, it is our job to make sure that Obama succeeds! Spence definitely agrees with that!

And the award for Best Individual Achievement goes to…Mr. Spencer Ackerman! Please continue the zealous and near fanatical devotion to socialism and deception that you have evidenced in your career. This is a great career highlight for you Spence! You have earned the first Riefenstahl Award! Way to go! Goebbels would be proud of you! This is truly a historic.

One of the toughest categories for assessing the mastery of propaganda is the group category. This is because there are so many participants that judging is extremely difficult because of the virtuosity of these efforts and the sheer number of them. Virtually every news magazine, newspaper, and broadcast can fit into this category. In fact, if one were to say that we are literally swimming in propaganda you would be right! However, as cream rises to the top of a milk can so too does the excrement fall to the bottom of the cesspool and that is how we determined the winner.
The nominees for the Best Group Achievement Award are:

The New York Times – The Old Gray Lady has been at it for years and is also nominated for the lifetime achievement award due to its decades of propaganda. Most recently, stories revealing top secret projects designed to stem the tide of terror in the United States by outside agencies has proven to be effective in assisting the terrorists in avoiding detection by national security forces thus endangering the lives of millions of Americans. Way to go Times! That will show those war mongering bastards in Washington!

ABC News – The folks at ABC News are some of the finest propagandists you could ever hope for. They are true professional who care about what it takes to truly lie to the American people and obfuscate the truth. ABC News garnered their nomination for the healthcare bill sleep over at the White House in order to get the coverage correct for consumption. It takes real dedication to take the time necessary in order to insure that the news jives with the official position and ABC News shows how it is done correctly.

And the winner for Best Group Achievement goes to…The New York Times! Holy God! The table at the New York Times has exploded with joy! Mo Dowd is doing back flips down the aisle…folks this is amazing. Glad she wore pants tonight! You have to believe that it takes a team effort to win a Group Achievement Riefenstahl. Better luck next time ABC, but tonight it is the Old Gray Lady’s time to shine!

Best Effort by a Layperson is a unique and special category. We evaluate the efforts of dozens of the best political hacks and arrive at the best of the best. Everybody from the President’s Press Secretary to Bill Maher and Rosie O’Donnell is a candidate for this award! The nominees are:

Bill Maher – Each and every show that Mr. Maher does is an example of the finest propaganda. This guy does monologues based on the flimsiest crap and makes it seem like he is speaking the words of God himself. What a superlative job of misleading the public Bill!

Robert Gibbs – Doughy faced and about as entertaining as a wet bar rag, Mr. Gibbs stands by the highest tenants of propaganda specializing in evading the truth and misdirection. In fact, it is precisely these talents that have won him the nomination for this award! Don’t believe me? Then just ask the Fox White House correspondent!

Valerie Jarrett – Ms. Jarrett is a political advisor and slum lord who twists the truth with the greatest of ease. In fact, Ms. Jarrett also approved the perversion of the National Endowment of the Arts for use as a propaganda arm of the Obama administration. Too bad that the plan was revealed before it could be put into action eh Val?

The winner was difficult to choose because of the admirable candidates, but the ultimate winner of the Riefenstahl Award for Best Effort by a Layperson is…Bill Maher! Boy is he excited, he is yelling something…wait…he just slapped a waiter! What? Oh…sorry folks, Mr. Maher didn’t hear that he won he is just upset that his dinner order was wrong. Could somebody please tell him that he got a Riefenstahl when his tirade is over? Thanks.

Boy this is exciting isn’t it folks? The next category for presentation is the Best Achievement for a Hollywood Professional Award. Each year Hollywood rolls out films designed to poison the minds of Americans against their government and to destroy public decency. The success of the film “Starship Troopers” as a piece of Hollywood propaganda disguised as entertainment led to the creation of this category. The nominees for this award are:

Oliver Stone – Mr. Stone has been working in Hollywood for a number of years and has created such works of fiction as “JFK” and “Born on the Fourth of July.” His slanted view of American life and history is sufficiently distorted to earn him a nomination in this category. His friendship with Hugo Chavez and the fact that many people believe that JFK is actual history lends further credence to his nomination in this category.

Michael Moore – ‘nuff said.

And the winner of the Riefenstahl Award for Best Achievement for a Hollywood Professional goes to…Oliver Stone! What’s that? Oh…ok…evidently some explanation is required as to why Michael Moore did not receive the award and he is throwing a major tantrum in the lobby. Yes, I know he did Bowling for Columbine…Yeah, I know about Sicko and Farenheit 911, but…shut up and listen will you? Those are supposed to be documentaries, but they are really propaganda and I realize that that alone should earn him an award, but Moore is not really a Hollywood professional. He was nominated in error. What? Look…maybe next year we can have a separate category for him. That’s what the Oscars did. Oh just let him cry. Damned baby.

Finally we wrap up the first annual Leni Riefenstahl Awards with the Lifetime Achievement award. This award designates the greats of propaganda. These are the heroes who labored their entire lives to subvert the truth and to spin the leftist agenda while killing the stories that would harm that effort. There are two heavyweights nominated for their incredible devotion to the spread of propaganda. These titans of the lie are:

The New York Times – Printing all the lies that are fit to print, the Old Gray Lady has time and again subverted the truth, sank stories that would reveal the corruption of the left, and hid the acts of blood thirsty dictatorial governments such as the U.S.S.R. and Red China. It’s a dirty job, but somebody has to do it right guys? Is Mo Dowd drunk? What? Oh yes, of course. Moving on.

George Soros – Billionaire and Marxist/socialist/fascist (not sure which applies as he hits so many categories simultaneously) created the Media Matters organization designed to promote propaganda to its uttermost limits. One of their most successful efforts was the Petraeus or Betray Us ad taken out in order to demean a combat veteran before he testified before Congress. Also of note are the Tides Foundation and the Apollo Alliance who employs a staff of spin doctors to twist the truth and confuse the average American while they move toward publishing a Marxist/socialist agenda. Mr. Soros also collaborated with the Nazis during World War II so he really knows good propaganda when he sees it. Wait…what? Oh, correction, Mr. Soros did not collaborate he cooperated with the…what? Spit it out man! For crying out…ok, Mr. Soros had some connection to the Nazis blah, blah, blah. He still knows what decent propaganda looks like doesn’t he? Right then.

And the winner of the first annual Riefenstahl Lifetime Achievement Award goes to…Mr. George Soros! The applause and cheering is nearly deafening! Look at Media Matters running for their laptops! The world will certainly hear about Mr. Soros’ recognition tomorrow! Hey! Somebody slap Mo Dowd and return her to reality! No Mo, you can’t cut your own throat or Mr. Soros’ throat with a butter knife! Pssst…next time don’t let that chick in you hear me?

Caught with Their Hands in The Cookie Jar

The recent revelations of journalistic shenanigans reported here and here (h/t Crusader Rabbit), prove what I have been saying for years: we are not getting the news, we are getting propaganda. Americans have instinctively known this and this is why the mainstream media has lost so many customers. In fact, the ratings of CBS, NBC, and ABC COMBINED do not approach those of Fox. This is because Fox is the only news outlet that even reports the news anymore rather than substituting opinion for hard facts. Aside from covering up stories in order to protect favored candidates, the journalists in the media are actively hostile to anyone outside of the left as evidenced by this diatribe by Spencer Ackerman formally of the Washington Independent:

“…what I like less is being governed by racists and warmongers and criminals. I do not endorse a Popular Front, nor do I think you need to. It’s not necessary to jump to Wright-qua-Wright’s defense. What is necessary is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a rightwinger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear. Obviously I mean this rhetorically.”

I believe that Mr. Ackerman is as sincere about meaning that as rhetorical as Stalin was about sending food to the Ukraine to alleviate the deaths due to starvation. The left swims in anger, hatred, and arrogance. When you see people through those filters you can no longer see them as human and any act becomes alright up to and even including victimizing women and children. But at least they are honest in their reporting right? Wrong, take a look at this from “The Daily Caller” story:

“In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.””

“…who cares – call them racists.” Now that is reporting for you. It is not that these things occurred on a listserv, but that this type of thing occurs in every newsroom and editor’s office all across the nation. What I once thought to be a limited problem is now revealed as a raging conflagration. We can see the evidence of this from the time of Joe McCarthy when the news media climbed into bed with the Democrat National Committee in order to figure out how best to destroy him. That is why today, 98% of everything that you know about the Senator is a bald face lie. The engineering continues through the Vietnam War and into the Reagan era when Teddy Kennedy wrote to the Soviet KGB offering his assistance in undermining the President of the United States of America and this was suppressed by those in the media and ultimately to Dan Rather’s smear of President Bush and his service in the Air National Guard. How many other stories were modified, suppressed, or created in order to publish the newscaster’s political agenda we will likely never know.

Those in the main stream media cannot plead ignorance, incompetence, or even stupidity for their actions. In fact, these people cannot even follow the rules that they make for themselves. As evidence of the last, I offer the story some years ago where the majority of those in the news business violated their employer’s guidelines and openly supported political candidates and contributed to their campaigns. One reporter even went so far as to say that her father forced her to violate the policy despite her admission that she was sexually attracted to the candidate. Nor is it difficult to understand the homage paid to the leftists in Congress and especially the White House staff and President Obama. The last time that the press was so enamored of a political leader Ida Tarbell had found her God in Benito Mussolini.

But the press is more than just enamored of Obama, the view him with a reverence approaching worship. While they may be satisfied with their newfound deity, I will stick with the Almighty. The revelations about the press also reveal the roots behind the White House’s on again, off again war with Fox News. The leftists got comfortable being around the docile, sycophantic, lickspittle press and when Fox would not play ball they got the shaft from the White House. Really makes you wonder what else we have been lied to about courtesy of the press.

This is why I brand them traitors to the American people. They sold our trust for personal prestige and political gain. How in the name of God are they ever to be trusted again? Trust must be earned and when you have fallen as far as the main stream media I would imagine that they would have to perform the tasks of Hercules in order to regain that trust. If I know the main stream media however, they will simply make a modest mea culpa and then expect us to hang on their every word. Not this time.

A long train of abuses and usurpations can cause a change in government, but such a thing in private enterprise marks the death of a business. This is the end that should justifiably come to CBS, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, NBC, and any other organization that engages in similar acts. The broadcast news media are not alone however in that the New York Times et al, also is guilty of these deceptions. I say this as sincerely as I know how, the Republic is in danger and the news media is the one who put her there because they betrayed the American people.

I say when the revolution comes they are the first ones up against the wall. Of course, I mean that rhetorically.

Rivers of Blood

As I began my higher education I believed that the University existed to give knowledge to man, but as I advanced into my junior year I realized that knowledge cannot be given because it must be earned. One must study, research credible sources, and even experiment in order to win knowledge for oneself, and lastly one must maintain an open mind.

But when the professors and practitioners do not maintain an open mind they become a broken record repeating the same errors over and over again. This is why humanity faltered with the concept of eugenics and we would hear no argument against it because we were so certain of the truth. That is until the rivers of blood reached our door steps and we had to step in it to leave our homes. Had we, but once listened to reason, so many would have lived. The progressives were for eugenics and the right was opposed on moral grounds. The left believed they were the instrument of nature perfecting man for the future by making him stronger and they called the right who opposed them stupid and crazy. Nothing has changed in the intervening years.

The ideology of the left began during the French Revolution with the Jacobins and it is here that we see that their ideology of blood began with the liberal use of the guillotine. So many were beheaded that the executions became passé and the French people yawned. The French Revolution also was unique in their premise that man could be completely trusted as opposed to the American ideal that all men were fallible and therefore complete trust could not exist. Put simply, the French said trust everyone and the Americans said trust, but verify because only God deserved complete trust. In essence, the French believed in man and America put her faith in the Almighty and this is why today, the left adores men in power as the ultimate end of their aims.

This is also why the left believes that the ends justify the means. So what if tens of millions must be exterminated in order to bring about their version of utopia? During the Soviet era, the State could do no wrong. All actions were moral so long as the State benefitted. However, this concept became more liberal during the time of Lenin and the standard became any action was acceptable so long as it did not harm the State. Rape, murder, the poisoning of children, genocide, literally any action was just fine as long as the action did no harm to the government. This is the same reasoning that today’s left uses when it delivers a beat down to a political opponents, accuses others of being racist, declares someone on the right to be insane, or to justify leaking top secret information or outing covert agents overseas so that they can be killed.

During the 1960’s the SDS admitted to an undercover FBI agent that after the left took over the governing of America they would likely execute about 25 million people in order to secure their political position. Today, Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dorn, are both unrepentant and sorry that they did not do more to murder and bomb the American people. People like them are at the highest levels of government, including the White House. Communists are in charge of industry, and the unions are calling the shots on healthcare and bail outs in order to offload their own unmanageable debts. All of this adds up to an excellent reason to get rid of God and Judeo Christian ethics. Of course in order to do that, they also have to infiltrate and pervert these religions. This is why you get a Jeremiah Wright and the concept of social justice. Can’t have any sense of morality or decency overriding the leftist agenda when they return to letting the blood flow can we?

All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again unless and until the left’s ideology is destroyed. Not modified, not neutered, but destroyed. Marxism, socialism, progressivism, and the left are all labels for the same thing: the total destruction of the existing society. This is why I term these vermin and their ideology societal acids. They destroy the culture, the morality, and the infrastructure of the nation in order to create a vacuum which will then bring about their beloved bloodletting. If you don’t believe that then please explain to me why the Soviets needed 28,000 gulags? Why did Joe Stalin murder 27 million in the Ukraine by starvation? Why was someone who was opposed ideologically to the Soviet system deemed insane and either shipped off to an insane asylum or a gulag? Why did Mao butcher 80 million in China? Why did the Khmer Rouge butcher 2 million in the killing fields? Why was the left responsible for the slaughter of more than 100 million in the last century? Somehow, I believe that I will never get a reasoned answer to those questions.

Does my criticism of the leftist love of bloodshed define me as a pacifist? Not at all, I very much believe in the use of violence and bloodshed, but only in the cause of protecting, defending, and preserving the rights and freedoms of myself and others. The left uses bloodshed and violence to enforce their will upon others. Therefore, I cite this ideology as an enemy of freedom and free will. Of course, this also explains why the left is so enamored of Islam as they both share the same methods of governance and a love of bloodshed for the sake of dominance. Was it not the left who authorized the building of a Mosque at ground zero? I believe that their reasoning was not that they are dishonoring the slain, but embracing cultural differences. Smooth.

I do not despise these people because I do not know them. It is because I know them that I despise them. But even my dislike for these vermin is a pale flame compared to the burning hatred of those who once believed in their cause, but found out who they really are and what they really want and so became a conservative. Evil exists because man exists and it is man who carries within his soul the seeds of both good and evil. This is why a people must be stripped of their morality before harsh changes can come about. When your moral compass is spinning you cannot tell right from wrong, hence 64 million shades of gray when once all we had to worry about is black and white.

There is a reason that there are so many parallels between today’s events and the events leading up to the dominance of the Nazi state. If we can, but disrupt the cycle we have an opportunity for victory over leftist dogma, but we cannot persevere if we cannot recognize the battlefield and the stakes. The battlefield is our communities and the stakes are everything that we hold dear. We must be firm in our opposition and we must not give in to the temptation to compromise. We must stymie their political objectives, oppose their every initiative, and continually smack them in the face with their failures, failed ideology, and history. If we do not, then we betray our founders and our guiding principles.
