While one would think that the Obama administration would be concerned about the safety of American citizens, you would be wrong. Six Meat Buffet reports from a White House insider:

“The idea was that we’d show that the Bush Administration had had far worse missteps than we ever could,” says a staffer in the counsel’s office. “We were told that classified material involving anything related to al Qaeda operating in Yemen or Nigeria was fair game and that we’d declassify it if necessary.”

“This White House doesn’t view the Northwest [Airlines] failure as one of national security, it’s a political issue,” says the White House source. “That’s why Axelrod and Emanuel are driving the issue.”

That’s right Virginia, President Obama couldn’t give a flying f*&$ about you. It is all politics. The fact that more than 300 innocent people nearly died makes no difference to the lefties. They are going to just blame Bush and hope that it sticks. In fact, that is pretty much the leftist, democrat, progressive, Marxist, socialist, or whatever in the hell these people are calling themselves nowadays, always do it. Misdirection, treachery, lying, muddying the waters because you have no facts, fabricating your evidence, are all part of the leftist playbook. Don’t believe me? Why do you think that the left is still on the “global warming is going to kill us all” kick? Because it does not matter that the public is aware of their falsified research and blatant perversion of the scientific process, it is a path to greater power. Why do you think that the left ignores the terrorist? Because if you are frightened of terrorism, you will relinquish more of your freedoms to them. Why did President Obama appoint so many Marxists/Maoists as czars responsible only to him? Because President Obama agrees with Marxist ideology, and that is why the American Communist Party was doing back flips when he was elected.

Do the math people, why does President Obama force Americans who capture terrorists on the battlefield to read them their Miranda rights? Why is he so firm about bringing said terrorists to American soil for criminal trials rather than military tribunals as we have always done with prisoners of war? Why is he consistently weakening American security? Why has he not plugged the holes at the border? Why does he drag his feet when it comes to supporting the troops in Afghanistan, a war that he himself said that we must win? Why does President Obama drop everything and go running for a friend’s injured child, but keep on golfing when more than 300 Americans nearly lose their lives in a failed terror attack? Why is it more important to give political shout outs at Fort Hood before comforting the victims of terror? There is only one answer to all of these questions and that answer is this: you don’t matter.

That is why President Obama does these things, that is why he has made the appointments that he has, and that is why Rahm Emmanuel said that one should never allow an emergency to go to waste. This is not about you, it is about politics and power. Of course, in order to be effective you have to be kept in the dark, but do you really think that ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, Washington Post, et al, has your back? Think again. Who do you think didn’t report on the ACORN scandal? Who didn’t report on Van Jones? Who was mum when the White House Communications Director, Anita Dunn, was praising Chairman Mao to school kids? Who kept their mouths shut when it came to anything negative about Obama? Do you really think that they are going to blow the whistle now?

If you believe that the news media gives a rat’s ass about you, you are mistaken. They don’t even care if you watch them or not. They care about power and prestige. Rubbing shoulders with the great and near great. They don’t give a damn about you so long as they can maintain the current regime that gives them all of the goodies. Why do you think that the major news organizations don’t bother to fact check anymore unless it is a story dealing with Sarah Palin and what she said and wrote? Why do you think something appears on Media Matters and then is parroted on the evening news? The fact is that you are swimming in leftist thought and you probably don’t even know it.

So long as the leftist ideology is not threatened by terrorism, Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson, et al, wouldn’t care if you or someone you loved met an untimely end on an aircraft at 30,000 feet in a terrorist explosion. They would sadly report the fact and then go on to explain how all of it was really Bush’s fault if that was what the Democrats wanted you to hear. That is the world that we live in today and it was brought to you by leftists who only want to usurp the power of the electorate.

I know that lefties talk out of both sides of their mouth, but Janet Napolitano is ridiculous. She says that conservatives are terrorists in waiting, and then she says no, they are not. Now she says that the system failed in stopping the Christmas day terror attack when before she said the system worked. I don’t know what she is smoking, but she had better leave it alone lest she make herself to look an ass again in the future. Napolitano is a career politician that began life as a lawyer. What exactly does she know about national security? Not a damned thing apparently, but competence has never been important to the left. Don’t have doctors to say what you want? No problem, just get a few of the party faithful and give them some lab coats so that they can look like doctors. Got problems with keeping suspected terrorists off of aircraft? Don’t worry about it because we have Janet “the right are terrorists” Napolitano on the case doing an excellent job of talking about things she doesn’t understand to the public.

Already the left has closed ranks and vigorously defend Napolitano and her lunacy. Leslie Marshall, a leftist talk show host, said that the fault was not with the U.S., but with foreign nations. The fact that she said that is not surprising. What is surprising is that she was able to say that with a straight face. When pressed on the issue she simply said that we can always do better in our security efforts and went on to say that the three day delay in a comment from President Obama was for a potential and not an actual terror attack. The child that was injured at his family compound drew the President away from golf, but a terror attack on a U.S. aircraft involving 300 citizens did not. Yes, Leslie, you are right. Thank God we finally have an adult in the White House. Not that it would have mattered much if he did have anything to say about it. I mean, his shout outs at Fort Hood were exhilarating, just not for the families of those who were actually shot.

Keep terrorists off of aircraft? Are you serious? Ok, for the record, that is not a serious question. While Napolitano did not say that, Nancy Pelosi did. The Speaker of the House was responding to the question, under what Constitutional authority was the government acting in order to force you to purchase healthcare. Similar to Pelosi, Napolitano just shot her mouth off rather than to find out the facts before answering. That speaks volumes about what they think of the public.

You see, they believe that we are stupid, mind numbed zombies who are supposed to just drool and do what we are told to do by those in government. So rather than putting in any real effort to coming up with a legitimate answer from a reporter who will just parrot whatever they say to the public, they just spew some bullshit and hope for the best. Sometimes however, they get caught in the act like Napolitano did and look like a horse’s ass. What does it say about us as a people to accept this kind of behavior?

To answer that question all I have to say is that a people receive the kind of government that they deserve. The majority of us, and nearly all of the dead who voted, clearly said that we wanted this. We didn’t care about Obama’s communist ties, about his close friendship with three known terrorists, about his racist and psychotic pastor, about his rabid support of murdering children who happened to survive the abortive procedure, about his narcissism, about his throwing grandma under the bus, and about his greatest success in Illinois government was voting present more than one hundred times rather than yes or no. Why the hell should we be surprised when he just calls it in from the golf course now and appoints people who do the same?

President Barrack Obama has been President for less than one year and there have been two terrorist incidents carried out on America or as President Obama’s administration likes to call them, manmade disasters. God knows that we wouldn’t want to offend the terrorists by actually calling it terror. In fact, one could say that this administration even encouraged these incidents. Severe restrictions on field operatives, reading terrorists their Miranda rights, treating terrorism as a crime rather than as an act of war, steadily weakening our border and national security while ignoring vital intelligence, and closing Guantanamo all leave Americans more at risk and that is something that the left promised wouldn’t happen, but happen it did. Hmmmm, has President Obama acted stupidly? You be the judge.

While there were many things about President Bush that I didn’t agree with, there were no terror incidents after 9/11. President Obama is in office for less than a year and we have two. How many more will there be? Will the President get off of his dead ass and tighten security? Will he get rid of the idiot in charge of Homeland Security and replace her with someone competent? Somehow, I doubt that he even gives a damn. As long as he can fly around an Air Force One and play golf he is as happy as a clam.

Thus far nobody has even asked the Chief White House policy maker what he thinks about all of this. I mean, if you really want to get down to the brass tacks on policy you have to speak to SEIU right? They are the ones pulling Obama’s strings aren’t they? Hell, we should just go ahead and change the preamble to the United States Constitution to read “a government by the unions, for the unions, and of the unions” and be done with it. The Federal government does not care about the actual citizens anymore anyway unless they wear a purple shirt or are a good friend of George Soros.

Unless somebody printed “actual results may vary” on the back of the ballot, is this the government that you expected when you cast your vote or did you actually think that you would get competence in government? Maybe in a few years when Obama is out of rookie mode he will actually stop playing golf and do his damned job, but perhaps that is just too much to hope for. After all, he won the Nobel Peace
Prize just by showing up. Maybe he thinks the can just front the Presidency as well and get his face on Mount Rushmore.

Actions

In the last two articles, I asked questions of the left about their corrosive beliefs and gave what I saw as the answers to those questions. I believe that it was fair of me to answer for the left because the left has no qualms answering for the right. Fair is fair after all. This article will deal with what we need to do in order to defeat this enemy. You will note that I do not call them opponents, or competitors, but openly declare them to be enemies. This is because that is exactly what they are. For decades, we have tried to have a civil debate with these people and to persuade them that our way of thinking is the best way. It has not worked. It has only emboldened them and made them more strident in their destruction of freedom. The left seeks a Marxist government and dictatorial powers. They always have, no matter what they say to the contrary. They are either lying or they are useful idiots and you can’t fix stupid.

Take the comments posted on my first article in this series. The gentleman read and understood the content of my writing and then rages about a point that I made. He does not tell a lie directly, but he does tell several lies of omission. He ignores the facts and offers alternative arguments when his original arguments are refuted. That is the leftist way and those are Alinsky’s principals in action. Disrupt the argument, confuse the issue, and act insulted while attacking the character of the target. That is standard operating procedure for leftists. By the way, I use the term leftist to refer to Marxists, socialists, liberals, progressives, and anyone who believes in collectivism instead of individualism, just so that we are clear. So, if this means you…tough.

The end result, of course, is the muddying of the waters so that it is nearly impossible to find the truth. This is how the left has been able to lie about who they are, what they want, and what their ultimate goals are and how they are more than willing to sacrifice you to get there. Take ACORN for example, these guys are into voter fraud, human trafficking, prostitution, defrauding tax payers, and assisting continuing criminal enterprises. Congress is for all of that stuff as well, they just support ACORN and not the activities directly so that they can have deniability. Which leads us to my first recommendation: fire the bastards. I suggest that we adopt Operation Clean Sweep. If you are an incumbent, you are gone. I don’t care which party, I don’t care who, and I don’t give a damn about how you are going to pay for your wife’s fur coat or your husband’s penis enlargement as the case may be. You are gone.

The current group of corrupt politicians is acting to steal our government from us while they enslave us and our descendents in financial destitution and socialism. There is no difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. The Democrats say, “We love Marx” and the Republicans go, “Yeah, we love him too” leaving the citizens to fend for themselves. I honestly believe that you could pick a more honest, more efficient, more accountable Congress by picking names at random from the phonebook and political ideology be damned. We have already hired the allegedly competent ones to fill these positions; I say we try another strategy which I like to call “anybody, but you.”

The same tired, old faces have been robbing us of our money for decades and now they seek to take our liberty as well. They have got to go. No negotiation. No whining. No bullshit. I am sick and tired of writing to my elected officials and getting the standard, party line, boiler plate bullshit. I only have one more thing that I would like to say to these drones and that is goodbye and good riddance.

Which brings me to my second recommendation to return our government to sanity: term limits for politicians. The reason that these jackals have been riding rough shod over the electorate is because we elect the same jackass over and over again, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. Said jackass then learns how to use the system against us and then climbs into bed with special interests that don’t give a damn about you or your family and voila, the tyranny that we have today. There is only one way to fix that.

First, I propose that the term limits for Congress be limited to four terms for the life of the candidate. That means you serve for eight years and then you are gone and can never return to the House. For the Senate I recommend a maximum of two terms for the life of the candidate and these people are picked by the States as they once were. The people have the House of Representatives and the States would get back their voice in the Senate. Today, the states are vigorously fighting to preserve their sovereignty under a hostile and tyrannical Federal government. By restoring the States to the legislative process, the Executive branch would have to mind its manners with the States rather than simply issuing executive fiats like a King.

My third recommendation is to permanently weaken the Federal government. The jackals in Washington have been stretching the limits of their authority for so long that the Federal government has grown too large and it now threatens the liberty of the people. It spends our money as if it grew on trees and creates entitlements that drain away the will of the people to strive for themselves. It punishes achievement and those who marry with the intent of creating a family. It criticizes those who create, sustain, and develop while it would create a destitute people devoid of morals and values. In short, it has grown into a tyranny that contrives to strip us of our rights. Therefore, the Federal government needs to be returned to its Constitutional limits, shrank, and told to keep its damned hands off of our liberty.

If robbing Peter to pay Paul were a virtue, then the Federal government would be virtuous. Instead it ravenously seeks to control every aspect of our lives. It tells us what to eat, how much water to use in the shower or when flushing a toilet, what type of work we should engage in to support our families, how much we should exercise, and worst of all, what to think. Rather than to be a servant of the people it has now become our keeper and warden. That the government seeks to jail citizens who fail to purchase State mandated insurance for health is a clarion call to action in order to save our individual rights as a free people.

The fact that President Obama and his closest advisers admire men like Marx and Mao is an outrage. Such a man does not respect the blood spilled by our dearest patriots in order to grant us freedom from tyranny. Such a man seeks to rob us of our hard won freedoms and to leave us dependent upon the State for a living. That is why the Federal government seeks to establish collectivism and to kill individualism. Are we so destitute of the morality of freedom that we would allow this government to extinguish the lamp of liberty? I say that we are not the lesser children of greater sires, timid and afraid where we should be bold and courageous, and that brings me to my final recommendation.

We should re-establish the Sons of Liberty. These men and women, for without the women of the revolution little would have been accomplished, stood for the individual rights and freedoms of the people. They secured for their descendants a nation that stands alone in the world as the last, best hope for man on Earth. It was the creation of our nation that gives the peoples of the world a goal to aspire to toward. By allowing the corrupt Federal government to dismantle capitalism, socialize the people, place citizens in jail for not purchasing health insurance, and Federalizing banking and industry we are murdering the very principals that George Washington led his men through hardship and suffering to achieve.

The will to fight for liberty is already apparent in the Tea Party movement. Now it is time to crystallize that will into something that will defend our liberty and protect it from the tyranny of the left and weak willed Republicans who would rather appear bi-partisan than to fight for what is right. If it takes tar and feathers to get our point across, then so be it. Freedom is worth protecting, for ourselves, our families, and our descendents.

Take the anger that you bear for the Federal government and use it to defend the freedoms upon which this nation was founded. Tell the Federal government that we will not serve a tyrannical and out of control government. Neither will we support the aspirations of aristocratic elites that seek to impose their will upon the public by force and intimidation. Tell them, you are free and you vote.

Merry Christmas

Christmas has always been a time of reflection for me. I think about where I have been, what I have learned, and where I am going to go next. I think about those who serve their nation in harm's way overseas and the sacrifices they have been asked to make. I think about my family and how time has whittled it away as some members have passed to the other side. Finally, I think of the Almighty and recall His love for humanity and the world seems fresh again.

It is renewal that is the true meaning of Christmas. A renewal of spirit and of possibility, Christmas gives us hope for the coming year. Hope that man will at long last stop his inhumanity to his fellow man, hope that the suffering of the world will be lessened, hope that the darker side of man will be enlightened, and hope that man will see his fellow man as brothers and treat them accordingly. Each year we hope these things anew and each year it seems as if that hope will never be fulfilled because the world is not perfect.

Man's nature strives against itself constantly and while he can be so noble, we all know that he can also be base, but it is hope that lights the path to a better future. Everywhere you look today, you can see the results of lost hope. In tarnished heroes who seek the pleasures of flesh at the expense of their families to women who know self worth only through their own bodies. In truth, we can no longer look to the prominent for examples of how to live and must now cast our eyes to our fellows, but they are out there. Most of us know these unsung paragons of virtue and character that live their days in anonymity providing examples of how a good person should live their life. They teach us that there is something greater than ourselves that draws us toward the light of truth.

They teach us that a neighborhood is more than just the homes of people living near you, that the burden's of the community are also your burdens, that honor, integrity, and virtue are not punch lines to old jokes, but rather a way to live your life. Just as mothers are the cement that binds a family together, these people are the cement that binds a community together. They teach us that love for others is noble and our fellow man has worth regardless of if we know him or not. Whether you are religious or not, this is the essence of the Ten Commandments.

Almighty God asked us to sacrifice for each other. To give of ourselves to our fellow man, how could He ask this of us if He did not make such a sacrifice? This is the true meaning of Christmas, that God so loved the world he sacrificed His only child and by doing so He gave hope to the world of men. It is precisely this hope that Atheism throws away when they discard religion and the Almighty and it is precisely this hope that America desperately needs.

This Christmas, I ask you to remember those serving the U.S. armed forces in your prayers, to keep the true meaning of Christmas in your heart all year long, and to live your life as an example to others. In so doing, we may bring about the change we hope for each year. I wish you and yours a very merry Christmas.

Questions Part 2

In the last article I posed questions of the left that are typically posed by them to the right. Now, I turn the tables and ask them a few questions. Why is the left not proud of the United States? Do you recall when the First Lady was campaigning for her husband and said, "This is the first time in my life that I am proud of my country" on stage and in front of cameras? Michelle Obama was nothing unique; in fact she was speaking for the majority of the left when she uttered that comment. She was naïve and her husband's PR people put her back on point in short order, but that still leaves the question of "why" unanswered.

The left is not proud of America because the left sees nothing to be proud of in America. While it is true that they see the potential of America, they believe that we have strayed away from our potential rather than sought to fulfill it. That potential is all about collectivism rather than greedy individualism. The left views the individual as disruptive to social order and he must therefore be put in his rightful place within the collective. If one understands this then one has a good grasp of the identity of the left. This is the Marxist/Socialist principal that drives the leftist ideology worldwide.

Do not lie to yourselves and say, "That's ridiculous, we got rid of communism and Marxism long ago" because it simply isn't true. To prove my point, have you ever paid attention to the signs at leftist protest rallies? The cause does not matter, it could be a peace march, an anti-nuclear protest, an environmental protest, the cause is really not important. What are important are the signs and slogans. Do you see the slogan, "Workers of the world unite?" Do you see any red stars? Do you see signs that demonize capitalism? These are the marks that signify that communism and Marxism are alive and well and running through the left as salt runs through the oceans of the world.

It is well known that the Soviet Union and Red China funded leftist activities during the 1960's and that the Soviets had commandeered the peace movement in the U.S. around the 1930's. In fact, the Soviets had thousands of front agencies within the U.S. working steadily to undermine our national morality and security and Soviet assets infiltrated the State Department, Military, Hollywood, Education, TV, and even the White House. The infiltration into the State Department and Justice is why Joe McCarthy was up in arms. Were you aware that the records regarding McCarthy have been tampered with from the 1950's up into the 1994 to hide the truth that McCarthy knew what he was talking about and was accurate? (For further on McCarthy and the efforts to block a true account of that period of history, please read "Blacklisted by History" as the author has gone back to the primary sources and tells the true story of what happened and the left's resistance and denial of the truth)

The communist influence upon the left is clear for all to see if they would, but open their eyes to it. This is why the left seeks a "fundamental" change in the United States. By changing our national fundamentals, the U.S. Constitution can be swept aside and the left's path to power will have no real legal opposition. The leftist ideology does not seek freedom for every man, woman, and child. That does not support the collective unity of the State. In their world, the State is supreme and the individual is expendable so long as the State can survive and thrive.

This is why there are no morals so long as the State is served. If it benefits the State to lie, then telling a lie is permitted. If the State benefits from the murder of children, then such an act is moral and just. If however, one tells the truth and the State is harmed, that is an immoral act. Thus we see why the left is opposed to religion as the morals associated with God are not beneficial to the State. In the leftist mind, the State becomes God. This is why the leftists are not proud of their country, at least not yet. But why does the left have such a burning hatred of the United States military?

That is an easy answer; the military is focused on external enemies and not upon the citizens of the United States. The left does not see enemies abroad; they see only victims of American aggression. This is why President Obama and his Secretary of State see no harm in dealing with tyrannical despots and murderers who seek thermonuclear weapons in order to secure their power. In the left's mind, the only enemies that they see are their political rivals right here at home. This is why leftist governments used the military and secret police against their own citizens. Conquest in today's world is rare and internal power can only be usurped by the citizen. Therefore, the only threat to a leftist's power is his fellow citizens.

This is why there were nearly 30,000 gulags in the Soviet Union. The idea of forced labor benefitting the State and the fact that most prisoners died at about the fifth year of incarceration held great appeal to a tyrannical government. If the quotas fell behind in production, they would simply go out and get new prisoners. This had the benefit of forcing the citizens to be ever wary of disappearing in the night and never being heard from again courtesy of the secret police. Remember when Barrack Obama and Rahm Emmanuel wanted to create a civilian security force that was as powerful and as well equipped as the United States military? If the President had been successful in achieving the creation of that force, what do you think it would have been used for?

Ultimately, it would have focused itself upon our own citizens. This is why the Department of Homeland Security declared Conservatives radicals soon after Obama came to power. The White House followed up with establishing a tip line to dime out your neighbor to the government if they were opposed to health care socialization. Further, such a force would have the benefit of not tripping over the posse comitatus act while simultaneously weakening the Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy. You didn't think that they would actually continue to spend all that Federal money on military programs to secure the nation from foreign aggression did you? Had Obama actually achieved his new internal security force, the left would finally have the opportunity to gut the U.S. military. Weapons systems, personnel, and equipment would have been drastically reduced to the point that the military would barely be able to defend itself within our own borders while the citizens of this nation, the true threat to national security in the eyes of the left, were watched by Obama's internal security force and neutralized. You see, the left has no problems with fascism or the abridgement of individual liberty or committing terror against the public so long as it is they who are responsible for it. Granted, they would not do so immediately. Even Adolf Hitler took his time preparing for his final solution before finally taking the plunge. The left would do likewise, they know where they want to go and they are more than willing to take their time to get there, but get there they shall.

It was the President of SEIU, Andy Stern, who said, that they knew how to persuade, but that they also knew how to use violence to get what they wanted. Mr. Stern's union thugs more than proved that point with the vicious attacks launched against conservatives by union members wearing SEIU's purple shirts this past summer. Were you aware that Andy Stern is the most frequent visitor to the White House? Did you also know that before President Obama does anything of importance he speaks with Andy Stern? Were you aware that Andy Stern and SEIU wrote the original health care reform legislation and that he likely has a hand in the creation of the House bill? Were you aware that nobody, but a select few even know what is in the proposed legislation in the House and Senate and won't know before it is ready to be passed? So much for the promised transparency that both Pelosi and Obama promised. Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Finally, we turn to American exceptionalism. Why does the left hate the idea of it so? The left believes that America is nothing special. That the American Revolution was nothing special and that it came too soon. They would have much preferred it if Marx was included in our founding fathers. Why do you think they are such great pals with Castro and Chavez and hold Che Guevara as a hero? In fact, the left believes that American exceptionalism is a myth. They believe that America is the author of the World's woes and that we rob the third world of necessary resources. They are embarrassed that America is the wealthiest nation on the planet and they seek to destroy our capitalist system and to replace it with a socialist system thereby destroying the greatest engine of wealth creation in the world. Why would they want that?

The left believes that America's wealth gives us an unfair advantage on the world market. That if we were poorer, then those less fortunate would be able to more easily compete. Needless to say, American wages would diminish, our standard of living would decrease, and the amount of our personal possessions would decline. As a result, we would bequeath our children a future less bright than was ours and America would no longer be exceptional, but rather just another nation on Earth. One out of many and no more important than any other nation and that is why the left passionately hates the very idea of American exceptionalism. Exceptionalism means that we really are better than the other nations and that just ties their underwear up in knots.

I am certain that the left would vehemently deny what I have written, but then they are liars of the first order. People who use Alinsky's rules for radicals and the tactics of Cloward and Piven would have no problem with telling a bald face lie about their goals. The left has been doing it in earnest ever since they claimed to have adopted family values. This is because they know that you would never support Marxism or Socialism if you actually knew that you were voting for it. So they call it something else and snicker when you cast your ballot. While in power, the left has succeeded in blocking the citizen from exerting control over his own government. United States Senators, or as we call them here in the South, whores, are pushing forward on passing a bill that they have not read and is vehemently opposed by the public. Because the majority of Senators have no idea what is actually in the bill before they vote on passing it, they have effectively removed the voice of the citizen from the legislative process and that was their intent. For the first time in 233 years the left has brought us to taxation without representation. Sure, you may have an assigned representative in the legislature, but he won't hear you or be guided by your best interests.

And why not? Barrack Obama sees himself as a King with the rest of the left as his court. Why should he give a damn about your personal liberty or your rights? The government does not exist to serve you and your ridiculous whims. As the Federal tyranny grows more arrogant, the public ire also grows. It is the arrogance of the left that has returned us to the days of King George III and now threatens our very freedoms. I now believe that the left seeks to destabilize our nation. They seek to burden us with so much debt that our economy cannot bear the weight of it and implodes. Why else would they bitterly complain about Bush's spending while they now outspend him by a factor of 4 and seek to add another trillion (likely much more) with health care? Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and others all want to achieve that fundamental change and the collapse of the American economy would certainly give them the excuse to do so with Rahm "never let an emergency go to waste" Emmanuel cheering them on. All they need to do is wait for the collapse and then scapegoat Wall Street and declare capitalism a failure and you are free to call your neighbor comrade. That is not my take on what is happening, it is Pravda's assessment of the current state of affairs. In fact, Pravda thinks that one morning you will wake up and realize you are now living in a Marxist nation and you won't even know how you got there. The work is being done to get there right now in the House and Senate with the help of the leftist propagandists, excuse me, news media.

The left, progressives, Marxists, socialists, or whatever the hell these people are calling themselves, are all enemies of liberty and the United States of America and their policies are not designed to help, but to harm. They promote measures that destroy the family and the community while they seek to promote the economic slavery of future generations. Mark my words, they will destroy our Republic and they will do so gladly. If you doubt me, then take a look at Detroit and see what decades of their leadership has done for that city and then extrapolate that example to the United States as a whole and you will see my point clearly.

Questions

Many is the time that a leftist marveled at how some knuckle dragging, red necked, Jesus freak, conservative could actually believe in his own ideology. Cher has done it; Jeanine Garofalo has done it, as has many others. Usually the pondering aloud is followed by a not too subtle pronouncement that in order to be a conservative, you must be insane. The Marxist/ socialist /leftist/progressive/Democrats are good at that. They are also remarkably good at relabeling, hence the many names that refer to themselves. You see, every time a name comes to have a certain stigma attached to it, the left simply drops the old name and then adopts a new name and denies any affiliation with the former label. This technique has served them well since the 1920’s. However, I am not writing an article about how the left changes brands like some folk change their underwear.

I thought that it was high time that we asked the same questions of the left that they so often pose to the right. The first question of course is how could somebody be a leftist? First, you would have to be incredibly ignorant of where you came from. This is evident in the left’s constant and oftentimes shrill accusations that the right is nothing, but fascists. Aside from the charge being utterly absurd, it is in reality the left that discovered and implemented fascism. The first executive fascist was U.S. President Woodrow Wilson.

Wilson got the sedition act passed and put Americans who were against World War I in prison for the crime of dissent with the government’s position. Further, President Wilson was an enemy to the United States Constitution and believed that he, and not the highest law of the land, knew what was best for the nation and he believed that the Constitutional restrictions hindered his vision for the country. Both Adolf Hitler and Mussolini used Wilson as a model to guide their own brand of fascism. President Wilson also was an avid supporter of the Ku Klux Klan and was a blatant racist and the first political scientist to hold the office of the President. Did I mention that he was also a Democrat/Progressive? Yet, one never hears these facts reported about America’s brand of fascism or of how we led Europe down that path with our example. Then, just as now, the media supported American fascism.

The media considered themselves to be “progressives” and famous muckrakers’ like Ida Tarbell wrote news as opinion pieces like ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, et al do today. When the illustrious Ms. Tarbell interviewed Benito Mussolini, the Federal government had its underwear all tied up in knots because they thought that Ms. Tarbell would savage him. Not to worry, she thought he was a God and portrayed him as such. Come to think of it, that is how the modern media treats President Obama, but I digress. The left may have initiated and perfected fascism, but they certainly didn’t approve of canceling an individual’s reproductive rights against their will and support the merciless slaughter of the unborn, did they? Actually, they did.

There was a science that was driven by genius and fact; the majority of scientists gave their consensus of approval to the new science as well. Even Darwin’s theory of evolution supported this new science and Thomas Malthus’ principals certainly agreed with it. The science was bold, it was bright and shiny, the elite spoke highly and earnestly about it, it was supported by our government and many governments around the world, and anyone who was enlightened saw the truth of this new science while those who opposed it were seen as backwards knuckle draggers who had to be stopped at any cost lest their stupidity endanger us all. That science was eugenics.

The left supported the science of eugenics with fervor while the right vehemently opposed it. The left said that conservatives were backwards, stupid, and petty for denying the glorious truth of their vision for purifying humanity. Darwin was right after all, and the prosperity of humans allowed those who were inferior and unfit to breed and thereby harm the human race’s evolution toward something greater. So states began to pass laws that allowed the mentally insane to be sterilized regardless of their consent. Sterilization was also applied to those who committed crimes such as prostitution or substance abuse. The left argued that sterilization was humane and that the incoherent ranting of conservatives’ about any silly individual rights was nonsense and that the debate was therefore settled in their favor.

This is the exciting time when Planned Parenthood was born. Margaret Sanger was a woman who liked sex, but didn’t like the pesky babies that sometimes resulted from it. She believed that having sex was fun and sure felt good, but that being a parent was a drag and harshed her mellow. So she advocated birth control so that she could enjoy sex without the despicable, filthy, little problem that sometimes resulted from such acts. Ms. Sanger fled the United States to avoid prosecution for passing out contraceptives to the public and headed for England where she met and hooked up with H.G. Wells (another well known radical elitist). It was during this time that her son died from neglect. During a break from her wild sex life, Ms. Sanger said that she wasn’t a very good mother. I agree.

When Sanger returned to the United States she pushed for her Negro Project. Planned Parenthood would provide abortions to black women in order to reduce the black population overall and by doing so she would improve society by eliminating them. In fact, this program exists to this very day because you can still donate money to pay for abortions and specify the race that your money will help eradicate. This is what had Jesse Jackson up in arms until he was bought off by the Democratic Party and told to shut up. Sanger gave speeches on eugenics and racial purity and today, the majority of abortions that are sponsored by Planned Parenthood are for minorities. Sanger supported genocide of the many minority segments of American society. I have no doubts that she certainly would have supported Adolf Hitler’s genocide against the Jews if his methods were not so bloody. To support my last statement I call your attention to what Margaret Sanger wrote of the lower classes when she called them, “...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born" in Pivot of Civilization. Therefore, Sanger is not per se against genocide so long as it is silent and orderly. It is so much more comfortable when you simply stop them from breeding and as an additional bonus there is no mess to clean up. That is the progressive way.

Eugenics died an ignoble death as it should have, but forced sterilizations were continued in the States until the 1970’s running on the inertia generated at the beginning of the century by the well meaning, but stupid left. Today, we deal with another leftist “science” called manmade global warming. The fact that the mean temperature of the Earth has not risen in over a decade makes no never mind to the giants of science that have falsified the data or knowingly created totally inaccurate computer models in order to push a leftist agenda. In fact the computer model that I created says that the temperature will be 8,000,000,155 degrees Celsius tomorrow at about noon because a squirrel darted in front of my tree. Sure, I told the computer to say that, but so did the geniuses’ at East Anglia University. As a result, my data is just as good as theirs. Never let the truth get in the way of good science I say, and I don’t even have a doctorate.

Despite the fact that man made global warming is an utter farce, the left keeps on supporting it. Yes, we know that the Scientists lied their asses off. Yes, we know that they falsified research. Yes, you are angry that we also lied to you about it and tried to cover up our own base treachery, but we don’t care. We are going to support it anyway because that is how we relieve you of your liberties and tax you into the ground and make you our bitch. At least, that is what the left would say if they were going to be honest about it. However, the left, true to form, simply gives a vacant look when asked about it and then says something along the lines of “Uh, dude, that’s like just a little bit of something and, uh, there is like… so much more out there, and if we don’t do something right away we are all going to die man.” After which, the smelly hippie stumbles away to find another joint. Did I mention that this idiot is also teaching college kids? Oh well, so much for intellectual honesty and personal integrity.

If the left is good at anything it is playing the Wizard of Oz. They create some ridiculous emergency, launch a massive demonstration against it, and if they are successful they will destroy what they are protesting and cite themselves as the heroes of the hour. This is exactly what they did to the pesticide DDT. DDT was effective at limiting mosquito born diseases and had been used successfully in the USA and around the world for decades. Rachel Carson was a biologist that was dying from cancer. She was angry and bitter at her fate and she desperately sought something to blame for her illness. She found DDT and wrote the book, “Silent Spring” warning of how dangerous DDT was and how it was carcinogenic and would be the end of our environment. The left, true to form, lined up behind her and shouted from the rooftops that we were all going to die because of DDT. They had not one whit of proof mind you, but the debate was settled and science stood behind them, much like science has come to stand by global warming and eugenics.

In the end there was a trial and the judge found no evidence whatsoever that DDT was anything other than a safe and effective pesticide. The left leaning loons in the EPA said “Oh, Hell no” and banned DDT just because. The end result of the EPAs actions was that millions died, and are still dying, in the third world because the United States banned a perfectly safe and effective chemical. Additionally, there is not one case of DDT caused cancer that has ever been reported during the entire time the chemical was mass produced and used. In fact, there was a University professor that used to take one spoonful of DDT at the beginning of each semester to prove to his students that DDT was harmless. He did that demonstration for years until he retired after a long career.

In the next article, I will ask further questions such as, why is the left is not proud of the United States and why do they have such a burning hatred for our troops? Why does the left hate individual liberty? Why are they afraid of American exceptionalism?

Medal of Honor Winner Under Siege

Colonel Van Barfoot received the Medal of Honor while fighting the Nazis in World War II. According to Fox News, “Barfoot showed his mettle in Carano, Italy, where he single-handedly destroyed a set of German machine gun nests, killed eight enemy soldiers, took 17 prisoners and stared down a tank before destroying it and killing its crew — all in a single day. Exhausted by his herculean efforts, he still managed to move two of his wounded men 1,700 yards to safety.” The Medal of Honor is so hard to win that the majority of medals are awarded posthumously. Colonel Barfoot went on to fight in Korea and Vietnam until he retired from service.

Now, the Colonel must contend with the Home Owners Association and their demand that he remove a free standing flag pole that flies the flag that the Colonel fought under. Every day the Colonel raises the American flag at dawn and he lowers it at dusk as he has done his whole life. Colonel Barfoot requested permission from the Association to put up his flag pole back in June and the request was denied. However, there is no regulation in the covenants that prohibit a free standing flag pole and Colonel Barfoot is subject to the caprice of the Board.

The Colonel complains that the Board will not even discuss the situation with him in order to achieve a resolution to the problem. That the members of the Board would so callously treat one of only 5 surviving Medal of Honor winners from World War II, is a travesty. I say that Colonel Barfoot has more than earned the right to fly our nation’s flag in front of his own home. The Colonel earned that right on the field of battle when he performed the deeds that won him the nation’ highest military decoration. While Colonel Barfoot is too humble to call himself a hero, I will. The Colonel is an example to the nation for courage, honor, and commitment to the highest ideals. That his trifling Home Owners Association chooses to meddle with him is an affront to our national pride.

I would tell his Home Owners Association that they should be ashamed of themselves, but if they will show no respect for a hero, like Colonel Barfoot, then how could they possibly demonstrate that emotion? Thankfully, law offices and elected officials like Senator John Warner are entering the dispute on the side of the Colonel. Henrico County could also help by passing an ordinance that allows Medal of Honor winners living in the County the privilege of flying the American flag however they please on their own property and that would put a quick end to the dispute as homeowner regulations cannot overrule the law.

If you live in Henrico County, Virginia then please call your Henrico County Supervisor and urge that they pay back some of the debt that is owed to Colonel Barfoot by implementing an ordinance as described above. As the citizens of a nation that was defended so well by Colonel Barfoot, that is the least that we can do in support of a man that has done so much for us.
